Woman: By any other Name

Woman have many types of issues in the world that are urgently important to address.
I'd like to start with the most basic and perhaps one of the most important issues.
This is an issue of respect to woman around the world and the use of language that describes
woman.

This perhaps is a global issue and the problem comes up sharply in every tradition/culture/language
on earth. Every language has it own slang and way of using negative words to describe woman.
Is it too harsh to print words here such as "bitch" "whore" "slut" "ho". These words are harmful
to say/hear/print and the nasty negative meaning is triggered when they are used. These few
chosen words you see here are tame compared to the long list of other descriptive words that
are used for woman in a negative demeaning way.

Movies/television/plays/print/books easily, and that is a problem too, I will repeat easily use
these nasty names for woman. It is not for "arts" sake that they need to use these demeaning
names for woman.

Please think before you allow yourself to be part of this abuse and please take pen in hand or hands on the keyboard and help in this campaign to help woman up the ladder of respect. Woman: by any negative name is not as sweet.
