So much of the world we don't know about and I had a great opportunity to meet
and spend time with the Abbot from Menri. A person that has dedicated his life
to prayer and reflection and education. I was in awe that I sat with the Abbot
and his group, people so gentle and loving and wise. A very old great tradition
that was before all the great religions came to be. The influence touches all
and I believe Jesus was taught in this tradition during his missing years.

Just the Abbot and me
What I did on my summer vacation.....
Met the Abbot and with his blessing he put
the scarf and a red string that he knotted with
his protection, around my neck....
Cooked for him...especially the "soups"......
and listened to his teachings. I'm still in awe of
all this and will have to let it all assimilate within
me so I can understand all this really means.
August met a new friend Sherab my grandson Josh
really took to him and everything Bon.
September had the Tibetan Weekend and my
Thongka found me.
